After School Hub: Built by a Student, Designed for Families

We’re a community driven directory designed to help parents find after-school programs, tutoring centers, and enrichment activities in their local area.

Our platform brings together a variety of educational and activity based programs into one centralized place, making it easier for families to explore available options.

What makes our story a little different is that After School Hub was founded and built by a high school student David Dautovic who saw firsthand how difficult it can be for families to find clear, organized information about programs in their community. Information about tutoring, camps, child care, sports, arts, STEM programs, and other extracurricular activities is often spread across many websites, social media pages, and community resources.

After School Hub was created to help solve that problem.

Our goal is to bring these opportunities together into one organized and easy-to-use platform where families can explore programs, schools and community organizations can share helpful resources, and local providers can connect with the families they serve.

As a student-led project, After School Hub is built with a unique perspective, combining technology, community involvement, and a genuine understanding of how important enrichment opportunities can be in a young person’s development.

We are continuing to grow the platform, improve the information available to families, and build relationships with schools, educators, community organizations, and program providers.

What we provid

Our directory includes:

After-School Care: Programs offering structured, supervised care before or after the school day.
Academic Support and Tutoring: Tutors, learning centers, homework assistance, and educational support for different ages and subjects.
Enrichment Activities: STEM, arts, music, sports, language, and other programs that help children explore their interests and develop new skills.
Child Care Services: Local child care providers offering care for infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children.
Camps and Seasonal Programs: Summer camps, school-break camps, workshops, and other short-term activities throughout the year.

After School Hub makes it easier for families to discover and compare local opportunities while helping schools and program providers increase their visibility within the communities they serve.

We also encourage families to explore research and resources from the Afterschool Alliance to learn how quality after-school programs support children, families, and communities.
